- 30 days multiplied by the hours in a day (24) equals 720 hours. This is how many hours we have to complete all 50 games. In other words, we have average of 14.4 hours to complete each individual game. Only the hours in which we are playing a game will count toward the challenge. We will have a running timer from start to finish and will archive all of our broadcasts for proof of completion.
- We have not beaten any of these games. We have started playing some of them, but we will be starting from the beginning on all of them. As you may have guess, all games are for the PS3 console.
- Our goal is to simply beat the campaign/story mode in each of these games. In games that have more than one story line (i.e., Resident Evil 6, Dynasty Warriors 8), we will only be playing through one particular story. Like we said, we have not completed any of these games and that is simply what we
aim to do. - We will not skip ahead at any point during this challenge unless we are playing the next co-op eligible game on the list. It is in alphabetical order, but we will be playing both single player games and co-op player games around the same time. (Co-op games are indicated on the list)
- Don't be afraid to help out. There is a good chance that we will ask for help from time to time. We have not played a lot of these games, so we may need a hand! We won't mind tips, but please do not spoil anything!
- We have excluded sports games, fighting games and online only games for obvious reasons. As far as indie games go, we plan on setting up a challenge for that after this challenge is completed. We have a lot of indie games!
- We will try not to rush through these games! We may be tempted to simply get a game over with, especially if we are not too fond of it, but we will do our best not to try and speed through any game. We will more than likely do side missions in most games, but we don't necessarily want to waste too much time as we do have a challenge to try and overcome.
- Some of these games have mature content. Please keep that in mind when tuning in!

The Dimm's Dose - Call of Duty: Ghosts
Call of Duty: Ghosts ended up being better than I expected. The visuals were stunning, especially when underwater and in space (yes, space). I think they did a great job of adding new dynamics to military style shooters, especially in terms of the environments, but also with the addition of a canine! Although the use of the dog was limited, I thought it was a great idea that was implemented with perfection. Overall, the game had pretty darn good graphics and a relatively engaging story that kept me interested for a good portion of the game. The voice acting was solid and the gameplay mechanics were very manageable.
I think the biggest downside to this game was how limited it felt. For example, you get to use the dog, ride in a tank and fly a helicopter, but you don't get to explore the game with these options for very long before you never get to use them again. I would have liked to participate in many missions with the helicopter or the dog, but unfortunately, that was not the case. My favorite part of this game was riding in the jeep on frozen lake, as you get to use the mounted gun and shoot out holes in the ice behind you.

The Dimm's Dose - BioShock Infinite
I am still trying to wrap my head around this game. Although I enjoyed it throughout, I felt utterly confused over the last 20 minutes of the game that my head just about exploded. In all honesty, I do believe that I understand the general idea of the story and therefore I can provide an honest review of how I felt about the game.
Overall, I thought this was a very good game. Although I was not a fan of BioShock 2, I did feel that Infinite was innovative in it's own way, especially in the environment in which it took place. I loved the battle system, especially with the upgrades that were proposed to you throughout the game. It was very challenging, but at the same time I never felt overwhelmed at any point in the game. The voice acting was top notch and the graphics and character detail were very neat and different. I like the idea of having a person there to help with ammo, health and in this case, salts (the formula used for special abilities).
I thought it was really cool how everything was slowly unraveling toward the end of the game before it is eventually thrown on you all at once and leaves you either scratching your head or screaming "holy s**t!"

The Dimm's Dose - Binary Domain
Binary Domain is by far my favorite game on the list thus far. I was pleasantly surprised by many facets of the game. The story, for example, was very innovative and I felt immersed throughout. The voice acting was tremendous and the character detail was excellent. The gameplay was pretty darn good, with a cover system and mechanics system that were reminiscent of Gears of War. The weapon choices weren't necessarily outstanding, as I pretty much just rocked the machine gun the entire time. Binary Domain did implement a unique upgrade system which reminded me of Tetris a bit, which I thought was pretty darn cool. I also really liked the idea of communicating with your squad members via headset, although I decided to stick with the simple multiple choice options via the controller.
The squad member AI was pretty fun, as I felt they were intelligent enough to actually assist me and they (generally) listened to my commands. It was, however, frustrating whenever my orders were not sitting well with said squad members, as they would not do what I felt was necessary in order to overcome an obstacle in the game. The enemies in the game were relatively easy, other than bosses, and I felt that all the general enemies were the same as far as difficulty goes. With that being said, the bosses were all unique and each had their own weaknesses to exploit, although sometimes they were very easily exploited.
Overall, this was a great game with a great story, great voice acting, good graphics and fun gameplay. Like I said before, it's my favorite thus far.

The Dimm's Dose - Battlefield 4
Despite the fact that Battlefield 4 had better graphics, less bugs and a nicer looking atmosphere than Battlefield 3, I still felt that Battlefield 3 was slightly better. I felt the story was a bit lackluster in Battlefield 4 and the characters weren't very memorable. The gameplay was very similar to that of Battlefield 3, especially in terms of AI intelligence. The sound and the visuals stood out, as the overall destruction of the ever-changing environments was pretty spectacular. However, I felt bored with the story too often and I was looking forward to simply beating it just to get past it and move on to the next game on my list. The best part of the game was riding on the speedboat in the choppy water. The animations of the waves were amazing!

The Dimm's Dose - Battlefield 3
Battlefield 3 was the first Battlefield game I had played since Battlefield 1942 and it wasn't too bad. I found myself getting into the story, which is unusual for me when I play a shooter. The AI wasn't very intelligent, unfortunately, especially when it came to members of my unit, but it made the game more challenging. Enemies seemed to focus their attention on me, which was annoying at times, but it did make killing the enemy a bit more enjoyable. The graphics were fantastic, for sure, as well as the general atmosphere. The biggest downside to the game were the bugs and there were no shortage of bugs in the game. Aside from the bugs, there was nothing I could really say that was bad about the game. It was on the short side, as the game took me about five hours, but I think that is about what is to be expected with a military-style shooter. Overall, it was good game with great graphics and an engaging story, with a few too many bugs thrown in.
